Halloween in Russia

never in my life have i successfully kept a diary, blog, or other formal record of any of my shenanigans. and rest assured, shenanigans have been had. I have been told that if i had a super power, that super power would be to get people drunk. i get perverse enjoyment from creating the perfect cocktail for any specific occasion or person. even more than that i do love to challenge myself (or be challenged) to create cocktails using limited, or unconventional ingredients. so herein begins an attempt to at least record for posterity, and my dear alcoholic cocktail-loving friends, those creations that i concoct from time to time. i do hope you enjoy, and try a few out. please drink responsibly.

so. another saturday night, another cocktail.. i consider this a particular accomplishment due to the fact that a key ingredient is a fudgesicle. yes, a frozen chocolate popsicle.

whipped this up trying to use up the leftovers from my Halloween concoctions, which i'll have to tell you about later.

without further ado- tonight's specialty cocktail from your favorite tarbender:

"Halloween in Russia"
3/4oz pumpkin schnapps
3/4oz vanilla vodka
1/2oz Kahlua
dash of cream
one fudgesicle

serve in a tall glass and stir with the fudgesicle until it starts to get all nice and melty.
